This is a Q66 M40, #10417, with 85% schiefergrau paint and a faded and worn but mostly full Q pattern SS shield, The helmet has seen a fair amount of service use, and has had a layer of whitewash and possibly camo or other type finish removed. The liner is undisturbed but shows heavy wear, commensurate with the condition of the helmet. The strap is not present. Overall an original heavily worn example, priced reasonably. COA accompanies.
