Heer Generalmajor Rudolf Keil’s Uniform and Documents
$19,450.00
Major general Rudolph Keil’s uniform and documents are offered here in a fine grouping. He was promoted at the end of the war to lieutenant general, but would have likely worn this uniform most during the period 1943 to 1945 when he was a major general. (The badges displayed on this uniform are added for display). There are hand sewn loops visible inside the pocket of the right breast where he hung his German cross in silver award. A line of the pin tarnished against the fabric on the front of the right breast pocket where the DKiS hung. Keil’s cap is a beautiful example of an “ErEl Privat” and is unmolested. There is no damage and it is in the almost condition. his uniform shows the later war celeon insignia, which are all matching and appear original period sewn. His name tag is present in the pocket. Some of his award documents are available in this grouping as shown in the pictures, and include signatures such as a nice “FM Keitel.” All in all very nice and reasonably valued grouping of a general officer who was in charge of an important supply and transport mission for the Wehrmacht.
