This strap is one of the Carl Tesch contract chinstraps, produced from 1937 thru 1939 for the SS. This strap shows heavy service use, but is fully intact and full length. The long end of the strap bears the VA acceptance stamp, “VA-SS 1938.” The maker logo is obscured by a stain to the tip of the strap. A super rare addition to that SS helmet missing one of these. COA accompanies.
