Classic Allgemeine-SS Droop Bill Steel Helmet

This helmet is known as the droop bill by way of its downward curve of the front visor. The helmet displays the exact metal stretch, rivet placement, color and liner design as all other droop bills, but lacks any marking such as DRGM or other patent related marks found in some others. They were contract helmets, as were all other helmets used by the SS until the Wehrmacht granted production quantities of the M35 later. Until that point, the droop bill, the RZM and other contract models were the mainstay of the SS. This one is in excellent condition, with one weak spot to the chinstrap. It is also nicely named with the regiment designation as well. It never was furnished with decals or stencils. An overall fine example for the early Allgemeine display! COA accompanies.
