Early War Heer M35 Feldgrau Overpaint Helmet

$1,650.00

This is a great example of an early Quist size 64 M35 Heer helmet, #3090, with a single ply 1937 dated liner band. The chinstrap is a Vogel, Chemnitz, 1940 dated (very original to the helmet). The liner condition is used but pliable and golden brown; the chinstrap shows a lot of grime from sweat. The decals are completely covered, and only the dark feldgrau overpaint is the main feature of the helmet. Recent high quality WWII videos show this configuration being worn in combat by the Heer in 1040 and into the early-mid stages of the Russian campaign. Sharp combat piece for the display. COA accompanies.
