Exquisite Waffen SS Panzer Officer’s Visor Cap by Erel

This is simply an exquisite, lightly service used Waffen-SS Panzer officer’s visor by Erel. The cap body is feintuch, which is like a thick doeskin material, in light feldgrau. It shows light patina on the top surface. The cap band is the real velvet of the day, unmistakably. The band is adorned with a set of Deschler insignia that are untouched (see the closeup of the skull prongs!) The piping is nice and thick at the crown, thinner at the band edges. The interior is the expected Erel cream colored silk with the ‘Erel officers’ kleiderkasse’ logo embossed in the crown, and also in the left side of the leather sweatband. Behind the skull through the eye can be seen the vent hole that is characteristic of these high quality visor caps. There are no modifications or alterations whatsoever to the interior (or exterior) of the cap and it is as is and as worn. The visor shows fine crazing. Missing is the celluloid sweat shield which is often the case with used examples. COA accompanies. Contact us for pricing and other information.
