Fine, Early ’30s Contract Helmet, Heer or Possibly SS?

$1,400.00

This untouched example is the scarce “mock M-18” pattern helmet found on the other listing which is attributed / named to an SS-TV unit and member. This one bears no discernable markings, but possesses the exact design characteristics of the TV one (except this one bears the M-16 style 3 pad liner system, with pop rivet fittings; and early style strap).  These were contracted in the early 1930s, and due to the helmet’s color, was likely issued to the Reichswehr or possibly the police or SS. It is in as found condition, but underneath the dust of ages lies a strong condition to the paint and leather. A very collectible piece! COA accompanies.
