Fine Heer Single Decal Transitional Helmet

This is a mid 1930s WH transitional helmet from an old collection, re-fitted in the M40 specification with the rough texture finish, and single decal. However, the early 1936 dated liner was serviceable at the time so it was not replaced. Photographs show the embossed label in the leather and the roller Buckle style chin strap that still remain. The helmet overall is in fine condition. The liner and strap show possible light treatment at some point, but are dry to the touch. The Dome inside shows the 1930s style size mark “59” up in the center. A great helmet, from an iconic period of early war transition of equipment. COA accompanies.
