From the Ron Wolin collection, this is a sharp outfit for a Kriegsmarine Korvettenkapitän, consisting of a dark navy blue tunic with three golden stripes on each cuff with star above in bullion, and a very nice ribbon bar with a World War I iron cross second class spange. The jacket shows moderate service wear and is accompanied by a vest. The trousers that came with this outfit were evidently paired with the tunic by Ron himself, as they are named to a naval midshipman from the World War II era US Naval academy. I can only conjecture that he used it as a display and kept the items together. The trousers are thrown in with the deal for just the price of the tunic. COA accompanies.
