This is an ET70 helmet manufactured in the 4000 series, likely issued as a Heer helmet. The liner is in great condition, undisturbed and fully original to the helmet. The shell itself is highly tarnished with heavy wear and patina, and bears an old, hand-rendered swastika in white paint, on the left side. It is not known what this would have been, and could likely have been a postwar addition. Overall a collectible size, complete, and affordably priced.
