Fantastic M35 size 64 (possibly Quist) Double Runic SS battle damage helmet named to Rottenfuhrer Ludwig Ottinger. Helmet was recovered in Ingeshetia decades ago from the area occupied by Wiking division, making this a very good further researchable helmet which contains rank and full name as well as division. Both sides feature double runic pocher SS decals one being over party shield. Also, the helmet shows evidence of shrapnel fragments penetrating both shell and liner that is original and untouched to helmet. One of the most interesting battle damage helmets with full name encountered. COA accompanies.
