M42 Luftwaffe Field Used Helmet

This helmet is an M42 Luftwaffe, ET64, #1781, showing medium service use and two bullet strikes. The finish shows remnants of a whitewash finish, atop the issue LW feldgrau medium texture of ET. The liner and chinstrap show moderate wear and are fully intact. The eagle is nearly 100%. There is an old projectile strike to the upper 10 o’clock of the left airvent, and another at the juncture of the rim flare, on the right rear side, causing a slight crack on impact. Overall a nice looking “been there” helmet, and named. COA accompanies.
