This is a fine LW blue-grey gabardine visor cap, edged in gold cord and badged in golden hand embroidered bullion eagle and cockade for a General of the Reichsluftschutzbund, or “RLB.” The cap shows moderate service wear, and presents a bit like a crusher, with a jaunty appearance. There is fine age crazing to the visor, and overall, an untouched original –and rare-piece. A very top shelf item for the civic headgear collection. COA accompanies.
