My friend Alain owned this helmet when I first saw it back in 1991. I told him I would love to own it someday and finally one day he agreed to sell it to me, after he owned it 20 plus years. The helmet is a prize specimen of the classic EF64 m42 #1571, police double decal helmet, often seen worn by the multitude of foreign Volunteers in the SS as a reverse decal helmet, with the addition of a CA pocher runic shield atop the police Shield. See the picture in the listing for examples of this usage. The helmet is named in a distinctly non-germanic cursive manner.
