This hat has a great appeal factor, showing light service use, a great saddle shape, outstanding insignia, and the classic SS-RZM interior labeling. The cap interior shows the classic orange chintz material with gold embossed SS Runes in a circle, with Reichsführer-SS acceptance stamp. Under the still pliable and fully intact sweatband can be seen some markings, including the ink stamp “K.L. 36”. The skull and eagle are beautiful examples, with no overt signs of disturbance. Generally the cap shows some light age and a few insect bites, and is overall still an outstanding display piece. COA accompanies.
