Sharp Sand Camo M40 Helmet

This is a nice example of a sand camo M40 helmet, EF62, #11663. This heat lot number checks out as Heer in the Ice Reference. The helmet shows medium service wear throughout, with a very heavy sand texture to the camo finish. The liner shows service use and age, with a couple of torn tongues but the string is fully intact. Overall, the helmet is a decent looker. There appears to be some abrasion to the right side that might have been the removal of a shield, but this is not completely clear. Overall a great example, COA accompanies.
