M35 Helmet by Quist size 64, batch number 738. This fine service worn helmet shows exterior service wear with Chickenwire camo basket which displays nice wire/paint interaction, as well as natural wear. Both decals are covered but shadow remnants appear to show silver and black border remnants, indicative of possible SS runic decals. The helmet lot number correlates to double decal SS Pocher issue, from the Brian Ice reference. Although not conclusive, the features shown here indicate a double decal SS issue helmet that would have been possibly used for foreign volunteer (Wiking Div) service. COA accompanies.
