This is a nice example of a “Staatliche Kriminalpolizei” warrant disc, which has had the swastika ground off. These discs, apparently were used after WWII by some veteran police as needed, but the swastika had to go. As we know, Germany re-employed their police to maintain order in the postwar era, including many who had served in similar roles during WWII. Historic and rare, COA accompanies.
