HOLD (p.p.) Veteran Bringback SS “Wiking” Flag

This flag or banner was brought back by the GI who is pictured in this listing. He was a PFC in a quartermaster unit and had evidently an ample opportunity to souvenir what might have been a training barracks. Some of the other items in the grouping that this banner came with included armbands and other things, some of which were not in full finished form, or unissued. This particular piece is a beautifully SS-RZM marked “Wiking” division symbol, consisting of the mobile swastika motif. It is in white cotton on a black cotton background with white cotton backing nicely factory machine sewn and constructed. The piece is fringed with gold bullion fringe and no other adornments. The dimensions are approx. 73×75 cm. An outstanding SS combat divisional hanging art for your collection wall. COA accompanies.
