This is a nice example of a well-worn German M18 shell converted for use as a WH (Heer) helmet. It has undergone reissue outfitting, revealing the rough texture schiefergrau finish, along with single heer adler. The liner is the M40 type with wire chinstrap lugs. The helmet has seen a lot of service use, but the overall components display nicely. A consignment piece, COA accompanies.
