This is a great example of a rare Heer chaplain’s schiffchen cap, with bullion insignia and purplish soutache for the chaplains’ Corps. The cross is positioned just under the adler. The cap is a fine doeskin quality wool with size marked satin-like interior. The leatherette half-band is present at the brow. An overall great piece showing moderate service wear. COA accompanies.
