Waffen-SS Gebirgs Officer’s M43 Cap

This is a tastefully restored Waffen-SS officer’s mountain cap, made of the later war gabardine, Italian stocks. Features imitation silk lining and remnant “Statini film” markings inside. These were part of a horde of military items that remained in the depots in Czechoslovakia after the war ended. A fine original cap with fine original insignia, restored to it in the areas where the insignia was lacking and clearly showed the Edelweiss and skull and Eagle impressions. A fine example for the collection, priced reasonably. COA accompanies.
