This is an outstanding example of a Heer M34 schiffchen, featuring feldgrau wool body, free of holes or damage, with period hand applied Heer adler and cockade to the front. The interior lining is grey cotton, with maker and size markings visible but faded. A ’41 date is visible. The soutache is the rare, early panzer-aufklarungs color of pinkish-bronze, which is particularly desirable as these were spearhead troops of armored actions on the battlefield.
