M35 Luftwaffe Helmet, Kampfgeschwader 255 “Hermann”
$2,350.00
This is a nice example of an M35 Luftwaffe helmet, dated 1939 marked nicely to KG, 255 “Herman.” The helmet is a size 60 shell with a 53 liner (a fairly rare size for a helmet), great decals, over 95% intact with very good finish. Having some rust and patina on the upper right rear portion of the top.
(Key Facts About KG 255Formation: The wing was officially formed on March 15, 1937. The command staff (Stab) and the 1st Group (I. Gruppe) were based in Landsberg, while the remaining groups were formed in Leipheim and Memmingen).
Overall a great looker for the display, COA accompanies.
