This is a fine original SS panzer wrap, rank of Schutze, with Aufklärungs (recon) piped shoulder boards. This garment is featured in the publication “Scouts Out” by Robert Edwards (2014), and has been in a few premier collections over the decades. The base wrap, as described in Delich’s letter, features classic SS pattern construction, with some post-issue, period modifications and repairs. These are noted and described in detail. The insignia consist of RZM pattern SS runic and blank rank tabs, and RZM sleeve eagle, all period machine sewn on. Nice SS Panzer wraps do not frequently come along, and this one is a keeper example for the advanced collection. COAs and Book accompany.
