This raute is an excellent example of the bullion unbordered type, worn by SS senior officers in duty within the concentration camp establishment. The raute shows minimal use wear, and has remaining threads where it had been attached to the sleeve of a uniform. The piece comes from the premier auction house, purchased by an individual collector, who is now selling items that he has obtained over the years. A great display piece, COA accompanies.
