This is a stunning, beautifully tailor- made SS-TV M36 tunic for SS-Obersturmführer. The jacket is made of superb quality Feldgrau tricot wool, with bullion collar piping and a matching set of beautifully-rendered totenkopf and matching rank tabs. The shoulderboard is the typical pre-war bullion braid with no pips, denoting matching rank to the tab SS-Ostuf (the no-pip, straight bullion braid shoulder boards corresponded to the ranks Untersturmführer through Hauptsturmführer in the allgemeine and SS-TV prewar system). The cuff title is a bullion- rendered example of the 1st SS-TV Standarte, ,,Oberbayern”. The sleeve Eagle is the earliest bullion pattern, and is perfect. The right sleeve bears the single chevron of the “old fighter”. Overall a stunning, once in a lifetime collectible, COA accompanies.
