This Heer Officer Bergmütze features a factory-sewn national trapezoid emblem with an eagle and cockade on the front. Constructed from field-grey wool with two button closure and fold-down side panels intended for ear and neck protection. Cap is complete with full sweatband in the Bergmütze mode,with wearer’s initials. Nice service used example with minimal wear and some scattered moth nips. Cap also shows some wear to the rear aluminum braid piping. Overall a less encountered midwar version of this iconic cap. COA accompanies.
