Outstanding Luftwaffe M35 camo helmet by NS size 64, batch number D257. Helmet features a three tone turtle camo pattern– not usually encountered–, that that is complete with original, untouched liner and chinstrap. While both decals are obscured by the tan/green/brown paint that has a light shine, the shadow of the decals can be partially seen. This is more so with national colors decal, showing a more pronounced outline. The helmet bears the initials “HU” with the name “UFER” largely painted on rear skirt and unit marked inside liner “1Flakregt.44”. This provides a lot of information for research and identification of this flak soldier. A nice researchable camo for consideration. COA accompanies.
