A very nice example of the lighter weight M34 helmet that was used for parade and non-combat wear by members of the SS-VT (the SS-Verfugungstruppe, the early combat formations which later would become the nucleus of the Waffen SS), and by members of the SD (the Sicherheitsdienst, the intelligence and security agency of the SS). The helmet is single sheet, lighter weight steel, and it is very nice condition. The exterior retains a nice lighter apple green paint finish. The right side of the helmet retains most of the SS runic Pocher decal as well as party shield decal. The helmet retains a very nice untouched liner size marked “57” and chinstrap that is “SS-BW” marked. A nice double decal m34 for consideration. COA accompanies.
