M40 double decal Police helmet by Quist, size 64, batch number S079C. Helmet just came from recent estate house cleanout from New Jersey. Features slight impact of battle damage to front of helmet and retains partial liner with many sporadic darkened spots indicative of possible head wound/KIA. Helmet also shows a painted swastika likely done by the veteran who brought the helmet home. Both decals retain most of there finish as shown. Here is a nice example of a service used/battle worn helmet.
