IDENTIFIED Waffen-SS Obersturmführer of Pz.Jäger

This astounding quality SS tunic is clearly the stay-home tunic of this officer, whose name is written in the nametag: “H. Heinrich” (research discovered him to be a member of 18. SS-Panzergrenadier Div. “Horst Wessel” SS-Panzerjäger Abteilung Nr. 18. SS-Ostuf. Hans Heinrich (27.07.1914)).
The body of the tunic is a very nice quality earlier war wool, with perfect, tailor-applied insignia. There is some light moth tracking near the right shoulder, otherwise the tunic is minty. Visible with the close ups of the stitching is the fact that everything has only been stitched once– there’s nothing replaced, and the tabs are some of the finest quality SS RZM examples I’ve handled. The sleeve eagle is a perfect bullion example, and the boards are pink piped, with guilt “P” ciphers for Panzerjäger. The tailor’s label and name tag match, and the name tag bears the very legible inscription of the owner, and 1942 date. Simply an incredible tunic for the finest collection. COA accompanies.
