This cap is a beautiful, very well-used flatwire insignia example, made of quality whipcord wool and piped in black for Pionier. These were some of the hardest fighters of the battlefield, having to deal with bridging for armor assaults, obstacle construction and clearing for the assault formations, demolitions of major features such as bridges and bunkers–and finally, hard combat in the offense and defense during any operation. They always were the hardest fighters, both in armored and grenadier operations. Their legacy was many RK holders among their officers and NCOS.
