This is a very nice example of a “Double Erel” Heer infantry officer’s visor cap in moderate service used condition. The cap has full sweatshield with staining and minor damage in one corner. The logo is crisp and clear, as is the embossed logo on the left side of the interior sweatband. The lining is cream-colored silk / rayon blend, showing staining. The insignia are replaced stock aluminum Adler and cockade insignia. The visor shows desirable, light crazing. There are a few very minor moth nips to the nap of the wool that do not detract from the overall excellent appearance of this cap. A great one for the collection. COA accompanies.
