Outstanding SS Honor Ring, 9 Nov Presentation Date
$14,250.00
This is a fine, service worn Honor Ring, with a 9 November 41 presentation date. The ring shows the full inscription, with the exception of the wearer’s name being rubbed out. There are several legible letters, which I am able to discern as “S t e – – l(?) e”. The dashes represent missing or partial letters- their tips for example. This could possibly be figured out, with the right level of expertise. The practice of removing one’s name to evade negative consequences of capture or worse is common with many WWII German SS artifacts, especially rings, or garments with name labels. This ring is a fine example, with the putch commemorative presentation date. Fully certified by Don Boyle, this makes a nice addition to the Honor Ring collection. COA accompanies.
