Double decal M38 paratrooper helmet in large size 71. This rare helmet shell was part of recent lifetime collection which included many high quality relics with this being the premier of collection. The helmet retains good integrity and still retains most of the finish of both Adler and National Colors decal. (There appears to have been a cover of some kind on the helmet, because there is what appears to be a cloth imprint across the top, suggesting it was either up against fabric as it decayed, or had a cover.) I was told the helmet was recovered in France many years ago with no other further history. These early M38s are highly expensive and desirable and this example is a chance to get one at a reduced rate that will make a very nice combat used display. COA accompanies.
