This is an excellent example of an Allgemeine-SS or SS-VT (or TV) black overseas cap, worn by ncos and men of those organizations prior to the advent of the feldgrau uniforms. The cap features black wool construction, with an SS-RZM tagged black cotton lining. The size mark is correctly in white ink. The eagle is machine applied to the side flap, and the skull is the ’63’-marked Deschler. Overall a great cap, appropriate for any black enlisted ranks uniform. COA accompanies.
