“Been There” Waffen-SS Aufklärungs Officer’s Tunic

This is a great example of a high quality earlier war tunic, showing a lot of service use, but no damage or abuse. It has the typical kleiderkasse look, but the material is a finer tricot, with a very smooth sheen to it. The sleeve Eagle is the first style SS officer’s bullion eagle and looks untouched. The collar tabs are hand applied and have the look of never being adjusted or replaced. Rank is Obersturmführer and the piping is for Aufklärungs or reconnaissance. The boards show the shadow of a cipher, but it is unknown which type. Super nice tunic, excellent field condition, ready for the combat display. COA accompanies.
