This helmet is a great example of an SE M40 size66, heat lot number 22011. The liner and chin strap are in very good serviceable condition. The helmet itself shows a service worn but still largely intact camouflage finish, with the Luftwaffe Eagle partially exposed. The camouflage finish consists of, in my opinion, a southern front finish- then updated green and red sprayed areas for Italy–Possibly Normandy campaigns. An excellent example, definitely a star of a camouflage collection. COA accompanies.
