This is a beautiful, size 59 Allgemeine-SS NCO’s Visor Cap, possibly made by the firm August Müller, München, Hersteller A2 143. This is due to the fact that the cap band shows its maker’s initials, K.L. (Karl Luecke) 1936. Luecke supplied sweat bands to Müller in 1936, according to company records. While overall the cap is in excellent plus condition, parts of the sweat band show restorative restitching (during which the inner tag has gone missing). The tombak insignia retain most of their finish and are untouched. The body of the cap is free from any soiling or moth damage, and retains a very elegant look. Overall, a beautiful addition to the SS cloth collection, COA accompanies.
