This prayer flag is a beautiful example, lacking stains or damage as so many examples show. The size is the typical approx. 4 x 3 feet, with golden paper corners at the string attachment eyelets. The dedication honoree’s name is “Mitsutani Hiroshi-Kun” or “Hon. Hiroshi Mitsutani.” It has the typical good luck wishes dedication across the top, and radiating out from the red sun center are the names of comrades and hometown well-wishers. These flags are sometimes possible to trace and in some cases have been returned to the original owner’s family descendants. This one talks to you… COA accompanies.
