This is a very nice example of the etched blade service dress bayonet, coveted by many German soldiers in World War 2 as a walking out decoration, and also a remembrance of their service time. The scabbard is complete and free from dents. The portapee is in fine condition and fully intact.The frog is intact fully and the bayonet itself has a slight area of wear to the finish of the cross guard, and a small bit to the pommel as well. It also features the red felt that they inserted into the bayonet lug slot as a decoration. Overall, very nice piece, COA accompanies.
