German Kriegsmarine 7×50 power binoculars, manufactured by the firm Ernst Leitz of Wetzlar using the code “beh.” This model was specially made for use on ships and submarines. They are in excellent condition. Equipped with rubber protectors, they are flexible. The binoculars retain much of their factory black textured finish. The optics are clear with light dust/tint as shown. The leather strap specific to this model is also in mint condition. They come with their original case, black pressed board construction, marked with the manufacturer’s code, “beh”, the date “1944.” The Kriegsmarine eagle is stamped on the lid. The set also comes with capture papers showing giving nice provenance. An excellent set as shown that’s hard to upgrade.
