Luftwaffe General’s White Top Visor Cap

This is an excellent and rare example of a Luftwaffe General Officer’s white-top visor cap. The cap features a removable light-weight Summer white top, with snap-on gold bullion eagle. The LW cockade on the cap band is in matching gold bullion, and the cap band itself is trimmed in gold wire. The lining consists of white linen size marked 59, with perfect plessier behind the leatherette sweat band. Everything is intact, with a small amount of the green underlay of the visor flaking, at the front brim, from normal wear. There are a sprinkling of gentle age spots on the white upper, as well as in the interior– showing a slight hint of the actual age of the cap.
