This podium banner represents the ancient symbol Sonnenrad or “sun wheel” emblem adopted by the SS Wiking division and elements of nordland and other nordic SS volunteers. The banner is a polished cotton and silk blend material with gold twisted edge Fringe on the bottom edge. The top has 2 clips that are manufacturer (SS-RZM) marked. The whole piece measures 73 by 75 centimeters. The piece was brought back by a US soldier, who had brought back various souvenirs. The original collector had only obtained this piece.
