This is a classic SS officer’s bullion cap eagle, in the correct pattern, showing having been on a cap at one time, with remaining threads and stitch holes visible. Overall near mint condition, very lightly worn, nice piece for the insignia collection. Consigner reports, this is from a Wisconsin veteran’s family direct.  COA accompanies.
