This is a fine Kleiderkasse-quality Waffen-SS Untersturmführer tunic. The material is a nice quality Italian gabardine, with a gentle age-toning throughout. This outfit no-doubt belonged to a highly decorated infantry officer, and shows many award loops- including placement for likely the German Cross in Gold (DKIG). The collar tabs feature a bullion runic tab and Untersturmfuhrer rank tab, both period machine sewn with minor separation on bottom of one tab. The ‘old fighters’ chevron and a beautiful bullion sleeve eagle are both period hand sewn. There are also remnants of a removed unit cuff title, making a good research project for the user’s unit. Overall a fine, lightly service worn SS Officer uniform that will display nicely, especially with added badges/awards, as pictured. (Only Uniform is for sale-badges/buckle/belt/service ribbon not included). Missing button is included and placed in pocket. COA accompanies.
