Striking Waffen-SS Medical Officer’s Mantel

From an advanced collection comes this stunning, beautiful quality SS medical officer’s mantel, fully named, with Munich tailor’s label. The metal body is made of shining doeskin wool, with a silk lining and dagger hanger on the inside. The inner pocket label bears the name of the Doctor, which has not been researched. The mantel is dated 1939 and the insignia are completely private purchase-made; with the exception of the boards, which are Heer style (fairly common in 1939), with corn flower blue piping, one pip and the medical cipher, both in gilt finish. The mantle is free of damage and moth bites, and presents a very elegant appearance. Being a medical doctor, the ability to privately purchase this quality must have been available to him. I don’t stand any artifact, would pair nicely with the visor cap listed. COA accompanies.
