Superb SS Chained Dagger

This is an outstanding condition SS chained dagger, correctly unmarked, with painted scabbard and nickel silver fittings. All fittings, including the chain links, retain their original patina and have not been cleaned. The chain shows the interwoven runic hallmark. All fittings, including the chain show a fine degree of untouched tarnish. The blade is pristine, shows all the cross graining, and has the full, etched inscription. The pommel cross guard Eagle and Runic fittings are untouched and not showing any messing with or removal. Same for the blade, it is tight and not played with. Overall, a very fine example, reportedly formerly of the collection of Lt. Col. Tom Johntson. COA accompanies.
