Italian M33 Helmet with tan cloth camo cover. This helmet, recently out of woodwork estate in New Jersey, features a tan camo cover marked “57” in back ink as well as remnants of a chalk mark ’57’ present. The cloth cover shows consistent signs of wear interaction between cloth and helmet and is super snug. Any removal might cause damage to cover and would indicate the cover has been married to helmet since the war. Helmet is also complete with its orignal liner and chinstrap. Rare example, likely used in Italy/southern front. COA accompanies.
